Resort fee? Yes, please!

Your personal extra for your vacation

The Blossom City of Werder (Havel) holds the denomination ‘State Recognized Resort’ since 2002. Therefore, since May 1, 2014, when filling in your registration form, your host will ask you to pay a resort fee. This fee is used to help finance tourist services in Werder (Havel). These include, among others, the organization and arrangement of a varied cultural offer for young and old, the maintenance of the cycling and hiking trails as well as the green areas, and much more.

The amount of the fee is regulated by the city of Werder's (Havel) Resort Fee Statute. Once you've arrived in the Blossom City, with payment of the resort fee, you will receive the guest card (Kurkarte), which entitles you to use additional services in selected tourist facilities. All facilities that grant discounts for guest card holders are named in an information flyer (Couponheft) that your hosts will hand over to you together with the guest card.
